Question:

I have a 2016 GMC Acadia with factory side raised rails that run front to back. We do not have crossbars. I have a Yakima Rocketbox with round cross bars and attachments that fit a Subaru Outback. I need to know which cross bars and/or side attachments I need to purchase to use the Yakima Rocketbox with my GMC Acadia. I see several that fit but am not sure if they will fit the Rocketbox. I appreciate any help you can give as this is confusing! Thanks,

If the legs on your current Yakima roof rack system don't fit the raised rails on your 2016 GMC Acadia then as long as the round bar crossbars are at least the 48" length you can use the RoundBar SL Adapters # Y03536 and TimberLine Towers # Y00147 to carry your RocketBox.

If you're looking for a completely new roof rack system then I recommend using the Yakima JetStream roof rack instead as this is the newest setup from Yakima and it works out really nice. For this setup you need the following:

50" JetStream Crossbars - Black # Y00425
TimberLine Towers - # Y33TR
