Should Lasalle Bristol XTRM Leveling Sealant Go On Before or After Heng's Rubber Sealant
Updated 06/11/2020 | Published 06/10/2020 >
Question:
I have removed all the old Dicor Lap sealant around vents etc on my trailer roof. I am planning to put xtrm self-leveling sealant around those vents and coat the roof with Hengs rubber coating. Should I put the the sealant on and then coat or vice versa? If I put the sealant on first how long to I need to wait before I can paint the roof?

Expert Reply:
You'd want to do the Heng's rubber coating on the roof first as needed and then use the LaSalle Bristol XTRM Universal Self-Leveling Sealant # 34427034145-1 when re-installing the vents. You'd want to follow the curing instructions on the Heng's before using the XTRM.
