Question:

Hello I am planning to buy a Curt 45310 ball mount with a Buyers product RBM 50 MM Ball. I wish to mount the RBM 50 MM ball mount on the Curt 45310. I understand the hole size on the Curt 45310 and the shank dia on the RBM 50 are both 1 1/4 inch but the RBM 50 does not come with a nut. Can you suggest what’s the best way to mount that ball on the Curt ball mount? Does the Curt have a threaded hole that the ball can screw into? Do do I need to have a nut?

The correct nut to use with the Buyers Products 50 mm hitch ball part # 337RB50MM is the part # 337FNE113012063 when you go to mount it on the Curt ball mount # C45310.
