Recommended Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack for 2010 Starcraft Travel Star 197RB

Question:

Hello. Could you recommend either or preferably both a bike rack and a hitch for mounting on a 2010 Starcraft Travel Star 197RB camper? I suspect that the rear bumper is not string enough for a traditional bike rack, or a simple 2 receiver so thinking that Id have to install a trailer hitch that would mount to the camper side frame and secondary rear frame behind bumper. Hoping that you have some experience and recommendations. Thanks.

The best trailer hitch option we have for a 2010 Starcraft Travel Star 197RB is the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13703. This will then give you a 350 lb tongue weight capacity which will be enough for most bike rack and bike combos. For a bike rack, you are limited to those approved for use on a travel trailer which is rather small but we do still have a few good ones, the Swagman eSpec part # S94FR is my favorite. It will let you carry up to two bikes.
