Will the iN-Command TPMS Send Alerts In the Background

Question:

To receive alerts in the tow vehicle, does the iN-Command TPMS app need to be displayed on my smartphone, or can it also be running in the background with other apps such that I can display a map app for navigation?

The iN-Command TPMS for RVs, Trailers, and Vehicles part # NCTP100 will still send alerts if running in the background. That said, you need to be careful not to close the app but so long as you don't you will be fine.
