IM looking to buy a ford explorer but before I do I want to make sure I can get a base plate that will work with my falcon 2 tow bar

The correct base plates to use with the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar part # RM-520 on a 2017 Ford Explorer is the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-524446-5 (No Active Air Shutters). Don't forget the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit part # RM-15267.
