Mounting Hardware for Draw-Tite 75742 Hitch on 2016 Honda CR-V
Question:
I purchased a 75742 hitch from you with the bolt kit and the folks that installed it, has the hitch crooked. What were the bolts used for that particular hitch, the company wont fix their install mistake so I am having to buy the 4 bolts locally but not sure on the specs. Honda uses a class 2 hitch and this is a class 3 and I think different bolts are used, not sure. Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The hardware used to mount the Draw-Tite # 75742 are hex bolts with measurements M10 X 1.25 X 30 CL8.8. You can also get this hardware kit by putting that hitch model number on the page for our Replacement Hardware Kit # RHK and receive the correct mounting kit that was damaged during install.
As a note to address the question about the differences in mounting hardware, it does appear that both of the Draw-Tite hitches- Class II and Class III use the same mounting hardware.
