What Type of Fitting Matches my Propane Hose

Question:
How do I verify if my hose is 1/2” female flare swivel. The threads measure 11/16” and the 45deg flare looks like it 1/2”, the outside female nut is 7/8 facet to facet and 1” hex corner to corner max. I know the hose is 3/8 and the male end is 3/8”, but not sure how the 1/2” is measured.

The fitting you have described matches the measurements I see on the 1/2" female flare like the one on the MB Sturgis Propane Hose Assembly - 1/2" Female Flare Swivel x 3/8" MPT - 4' part # 100383-48-MBS or the 3' part # 100383-36-MBS.
