Question:
Im looking at buying an RV to live out of at my lake property. I dont know what size yet, but will I need traditional electric or can I live daily on solar power? The power will be in constant use for a/c, lighting, heat if that applies tv no more than 10 hours per day etc. Id appreciate any feedback you can provide. Thank you

You can live and run your AC even off a solar power system if you have a large enough battery backup system, but I also recommend having a generator on hand. The Go Power Solar AE-4 All Electric System with MPPT Solar Controller - 760 Watt Solar Panels # 342-75010 is a great option for going off-grid. The battery bank you need will be dependent on your power needs. AC does have a significant startup and draw on power, so I definitely recommend having a capacitor on your AC to assist with that power draw at start using # ACMSCKIT.
As a backup, if you want a total power system I recommend the 4,500-Watt Portable RV Generator - 3,600 Running Watts - Propane or Gas - Electric Start Item # 333-0005.
