Will the Yakima SweetRoll Kayak Carrier Work With Sit On Top Fishing Kayak

Question:

I have a 2 man sit on top kayak that weighs about 80 lbs. my vehicle is a 2012 Rav4. I have a set of J bars but cant lift the kayak onto the roof with my partner. 140L x 32w approx 80lbs Will the Sweet Roll Y04074 handle the weight and length of my kayak? photo attached

The Yakima SweetRoll Kayak Carrier part # Y04074 has an 80 lb weight capacity so as long as the weight of the kayak is under this you can use it. There is no max length so this will not be an issue either. The Yakima SweetRoll will work just fine on a Toyota Rav4 and it should do an excellent job of helping to get the heavy kayak onto the roof.
