Will Trailer Hitch for 2015 Ford Mustang GT Work with Roush

Question:

2015 Mustang GT. I have a Roush “After axle” exhaust mufflers and tips”. Will the hitch install OK?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11405 and Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 24928 are both excellent option for a 2015 Ford Mustang GT, the only ones I am aware of actually. I recommend the Curt option since it's assembled in the USA.

In regards to fitment with an aftermarket or specialty factory exhaust this is where it gets a bit tricky. The reason for this is that there are tons of exhaust system options, especially for the Mustang so it is simply not possible for the trailer hitch manufacturers to test their hitch with each one of these systems. If the exhaust retains the same location, muffler shape, and size as the factory exhaust this it should work but there may be modifications required if any of the shapes or locations have changed. I am sure any reputable exhaust shop would be able to make the combo work though if issue came up.
