The Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar part # BX7380 is designed to fit a 2 inch trailer hitch. While we don't have a custom fit hitch that was designed for your 2016 Thor Chateau 29G we do have multi fit hitches like the # 13703 which fit frame widths between 22 and 72 inches and all standard frame designs.

That will depend on how tall your RV hitch height is and how tall the base plate kit sits on the front of your vehicle. I attached a link to a page that details how to determine the correct drop adapter for you to check out as we don't have a way to look up what you'd need.

Is there any way to tell when looking at a blue ox hitch which size it is? Is there any place the numbers or something would be good so you can tell what size of hitch bar you have?

@Brad When you say Blue Ox hitch what exactly are you referring to? Unfortunately the term hitch gets used for several different things. Are you maybe asking about the hitch size the tow bar is designed to fit?
