Fifth Wheel Towing Capacity of 2018 f-250 Power Stroke Crew Cab 4x4

Question:

I have a 2018 F2 50 power stroke diesel. Four-wheel-drive crew cab short bed. Would it be able to tow a fifth wheel camper that weighs 17,500 pound?

According to the 2018 Ford Towing Guide, which is on Ford's fleet website, the 5th wheel/goosneck hitch towing capacity of the 2018 F250 4x4 short box crew cab tops out at 14,700 lbs for a 3.31 with a 22,500 GCWR (on label in driver's side door jamb) rear end.

A 17,500 lb 5th wheel would be significantly above the towing capacity of your truck.

Your best bet would be to choose a lighter fifth wheel.
