T-Bolt for Thule Hideaway Awning Roof Rack Mount

Question:
Will this t-bolt work as a replacement with the thule awning 490010. I originally bought the roof rack adapter and use the t-bolt that comes with but I need a longer t-bolt to add a thicker spacer so the awning is not sitting to far in the promaster. With the current set up, I am unable to open the awning with telescopic hand crank because the awning sits inward vs outward.

The Thule HideAway Awning does use the M8 T bolts so there will be no issue with using the Replacement M8 T-Bolt for Thule Roof Rack part # 853-0782 to get the extra length you need to get your awning in the correct position.
