I have been looking for clips that would attach my ski racks to the factory crossbars on my Subaru, theyre an ovular shape, should these work?

Another option is the Replacement 13 mm SpeedLink Mounting Hardware Assembly for Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier # 7521241001. These are compatible with Subaru factory crossbars.
If you have a specific ski rack, there may be specific mounting hardware more suitable.
