What to get transom or bow is there a difference

The big difference is that transom straps are sold in pairs like the # IMF14256 and the bow straps are sold individually like the part # IMF14220 you referened. The straps themselves are the same but basically it just comes down to the typicaly application difference being that transom straps use two and bow straps are single.
