Does the Roadmaster Rear Sway Bar Need to Be Installed Completely Parallel to the Ground

Question:
Mine came with two setting holes on the frame bracket and three settings holes on the link. The instructions say to chose the holes that make the bar even. Which part of the bar needs to be even? The trailing arms of the sway bar parallel to the ground? In the install videos, the trailing arms are angled up. Thanks.

When installing the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-146 you do want the trailing arms of the sway bar to be as parallel to the ground as possible. I can see what you're talking about, and they do look like they're angled slightly upwards. If you watch at the start of the videos where the road test is done, you can get a pretty good idea of what it's supposed to look like when installed. It may not be able to be installed completely level because of different components that are in that area (the differential and suspension components mainly), but you should be able to get it fairly close.
