Can the anti rattle device be used with the shock absorbing style receiver hitch that has the elastomer that cushions the hitch pin?

Expert Reply:
The Quiet Hitch, # RM-061, is not rated to be used while towing a trailer even with a cushioned ball mount. I recommend the simple anti-rattle device # MPG908. It wedges in on the side to stop movement. However, the use of a anti-rattle device could potentially cancel out the cushioning effect of the ball mount and it would perform like a normal ball mount.
