Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at a Lippert Keyless RV entry door lock with Bluetooth capability for a left hand side. So folks, again, this is a keyless RV entry door. You're gonna have three different methods to open this. You can use your smartphone, use their free app, you can use the keypad here that will illuminate in the dark, or you can use the traditional locking keys with the provided keys that come with it.
So one of the things I like about this is, as I mentioned, is that Bluetooth capability. So you're gonna have up to 60 foot of range. That should be more than enough, especially at campsites. It's gonna use proximity based locking and unlocking. You could also pair up to six individual smart devices per lock, and you can also manage multiple locks through that app.
So basically you could get a couple of these if you have a front door and a back door maybe, or something like that, excuse me, maybe you got a toy hauler or something. And you could do multiple doors with that same app and choose to open one and out the other and vice versa. And then you can lock 'em all at the same time or unlock 'em at the same time as well. And again, you can also use the provided keypad it will need, and it does include four AA batteries. And those are here on the backside.
I left this little tab in here because it's new and I don't wanna use the batteries and stuff up. But basically it's gonna come in two pieces whenever you get it. You will have to install it, just like any door hardware you get. And it's pretty straightforward. You should be able to do it yourself with no problems.
And then obviously, you'll be able to open from either side. Let me get in here so you can see it. There you go. And then again, you have all the hardware, you need the striker plate, all the screws and everything. And you do have a little wire here, but that just gets plugged into the other side of the other side of the assembly here. So there's no wiring that you need to have extra or anything. So again, that plug is just connecting from one side of this piece to the other side to give it the power it needs from the battery pack that's included. Now this will also give you three battery modes and color indicators. You have normal storage and low power that lets you know when the batteries are getting lower. It's also gonna give you audio feedback to confirm locking and unlocking. And this is pretty much a standard size. It's gonna fit on most RV entry doors that have standard latches. And as far as the door cutout that you're gonna need as far as the thickness, it needs to be between one and three-eighth inches to one and a half inches thick. And the cutout's gonna be two and three-quarter inches wide by three and three-quarter inches tall. Folks, that's gonna wrap up our quick look together at this Lippert keyless RV entry door. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
