Jeep hard top with rhino rack 2 bar back bone

Question:

I have a 2019 Jeep JL 4dr hard top with 3 inches of lift. My idea is to install a rhino rack 2 bar backbone system which is the strongest system to date that I know of... The bars are 59 inches. I am buying 2 Bonafide ex 123 kayaks weighing 70 lbs each. The widest part of kayak is 32 inches wide. I am thinking 2 sets of mega wings to load them easier on a tall vehicle will work, but kayaks will extend 4 to 6 inches past the 59 inch bars.. it appears with mega wing mounting design, this would not be an issue.. Am I missing something and do you feel confident it will work? It seems megawing would be easier to load solo..

I think you have found a great solution! The Malone MegaWing Fishing Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs part # MPG207 will fit on and work great with the Rhino-Rack with the Backbone system.

I understand your concern about the overhang on the sides but is isn't an issue as far as the carriers or the rack is concerned.

The Megs wing does load fairly easily. Well as easily as lifting a kayak and pushing. I really like the Malone watersport line of cariers in general. They are simple, well built and last forever.
