Question:

I have purchased an RV with a demco model # 951010 tow bar. I have a 2018 jeep jk. Wrangler. Is the roadmaster #5214485 compatible to use with the demco? Thanks for your help.

Yes, the older Demco Commander tow bar 951010 (replaced by Commander II part # DM9511012) can be used with the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms part # RM-521448-5 with the Demco adapter part # DM9523032. If you have the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit part # RM-521448-4 you will need the adapter part # DM9523001.

If you do not already have the Roadmaster base plate on the Jeep, you can use a Demco base plate without an adapter with the Commander tow bar. It sounds like you have a standard factory bumper without a winch or guard, for that you can use Demco base plate part # DM9519292 on the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Jk as long as its not a Winter, Hard Rock, or 75th Anniversary model.

You will also need a supplemental braking system, tow bar wiring, safety cables and possibly a high low adapter. It sounds like you already have the parts you need but please let me know if you need any recommendations.
