Troubleshooting Trailer Connector on 2013 Ram 1500

Question:
2013 1500 Ram no power on 7 prong or 4 prong for running lights. Fuses look good, wiring looks good plugs arent loose or corroded.

If the fuses are good and there's no corrosion or damage to the connectors, then there has to be either a problem with the wires themselves or the ground. I would start by checking and possibly reconnecting the ground just to make sure since it's fairly easy to do. I would also make sure the issue is on the truck side by testing the connectors with a circuit tester like # PTW2993 if you haven't already.
If you've already done this and it's definitely on the truck side and you're still not getting power, I'd unplug the 7-way and use the circuit tester on the truck's connector where the wiring harness plugs in. If you're not getting power here, then the problem is with the truck's wiring which mean you're going to have to trace the wires to find the issue. I don't know your mechanical experience, but this might be best for a mechanics because that can be a lot. On the other hand, if you do have power at that connector but not at the trailer connector end then make sure none of the pins on that connector are bent. Otherwise, the problem is with the harness which can be replaced with part # HM40975-11933.
