How Much Air Pressure for Boat Trailer Tires
Published 04/03/2020 >
Question:
Hi. I recently upgraded my boat trailer tires. The new tires have a max psi on the sidewall of 80, however, the sticker on the trailer says inflate to 65psi. I assume the sticker is for the old tires and I should inflate the new tires to 80psi. Is my assumption correct?

You are absolutely correct. In order to utilize their full load rating, trailer tires should always remain fully inflated to the pressure rating listed on the tire's sidewall as opposed to a passenger car tire which will have an acceptable range.
