I'd be glad to help you out with that. Your trailer wiring sends one leg of the running lamp circuit down each side of the trailer, rather than one leg down one side that daisy chains over to the other lamp. Simply take both brown wires and connect them to the running lamp circuit wire from the trailer connector you're using. If you're using the # H20046 connector, pay attention to the color coding chart shown on the product page, as the color coding is different. This connector uses the following color code:
White wire on connector grounds to trailer frame
Red wire on connector carries left turn/brake lamp and connects to yellow wire on trailer
Brown wire on connector carries right turn/brake lamp and connects to green wire on trailer
Green wire on connector carries running lamp circuit, and would connect to both brown wires you mentioned
Blue wire carries brake output voltage, connects to blue wire on trailer
Black wire carries 12-volt accessory power from vehicle battery to trailer
Yellow wire can be used for reverse lamps if trailer is so equipped
I'd also recommend a junction box like # 38656 which offers a weatherproof location for all your connections for a neat and professional installation. You'd also need 14 ring terminals, like part # 44-5310A. I'll link you to an installation video showing how the junction box installs.
