Where Does Lippert SolidStep RV Step Install Relative to Threshold of RV

Question:

Just making sure that these mount o er the threshold.....I have a 2015 attitude 27sa toy hauler. Again, just making sure that these mount over the threshold. Other manufacturers have gap measurements and so on...these look solid and simple to mount

I attached two pictures to this page that show how the SolidStep like the part # LC698799 install. Basically they bolt to the inside of the threshold in the interior of the RV and then when they fold down to be used they end up folding down on top of the threshold.

What do you do if your screen door doesn’t have 3/8” threshold clearance?

If you don't have a 3/8" threshold it's possible that the screen door won't be able to close over the step assembly's mounting bracket. You might be able to move/modify the door but it's also possible that the SolidStep just isn't the best solution for your particular trailer/RV.
