I am interested in a tonneau cover for my 2016 Toyota tacoma access cab with 6 foot bed. What are my options for a ladder rack system that is compatible with this tonneau cover?

For your 2016 Toyota Tacoma with a 6 foot bed, there is a specific combination that is going to work, starting with the tonneau cover, the RetraxONE XR Hard Tonneau Cover with Trax Rails # RTT-60852.

This rack has rails on it which allow you to install one of the following rack systems:

- Yakima OutPost HD Overland Truck Bed Rack with Tonneau Cover Adapter # Y01152-5755 (60 inch crossbars) or # Y01152-5855 (68 inch crossbars)

- Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack for Tonneau Cover # Y01151-5755 (60 inch crossbars) or # Y01151-5855 (68 inch crossbars)

The biggest difference between the two rack systems is simply that the OverHaul rack is height-adjustable from 19 inches to 30 inches above your Tacoma's bed side while the OutPost is stationary at 19 inches.
