Question:

What is the trailer hitch receiver weight capacity for a cargo basket loaded? Trailer is a 2020 Big Country 5th wheel. Researching to use a cargo brasket for a couple of generator box’s with generators weight 100lb each plus checker plate material weight.

The Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # 13703 you referenced has a tongue weight rating of 350 lbs. With each one of the generators weighing 100 lbs, that will be very close to the limit once you add the weight of the carrier.

If the frame of your trailer is 22" to 66" Wide the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # C13704 will work and it has a 500 lbs tongue weight rating. The hitch can be installed on box frames, c channel and I beam frames. The hitch can be bolted or welded to the frame.
