Can Tire Size 175/70-13 be Used on Trailer

Question:

I have a pop up camper I bought it a few weeks ago I was wondering one side has a 185 80 R13 and the other side has a 175 70 R13 . The 175 70 R13 was flat I put the same size on it to fix it. I wanted to know is a 175 70 R13 are ok on a pop up camper

The easy answer is that as long as there's an "ST" in front of the tire size it's going to be totally fine and safe to use on a camper trailer. That said, a 175/70-13 tire size is not a standard trailer size so most likely what you have is a passenger vehicle tire and you'd need to go with a trailer tire instead like the size you had on previously 185/80-13 like the # LHCK105 from Westlake which has a great tread design for traction, a higher speed rating, and comes with a warranty that includes tire replacement.
