Question:

I would like to purchase this carrier for use on a 24’ Forest River Solera. Is this an appropriate carrier for my RV? 2013 First River Solera 24MS Mini Class C

The 24x48-3/4 Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier w/ Lockable Lid and Cargo Bag for 2" Hitches part # M2200-01-02 may work on your Forest River Solera however the distance from the hitch pin hole to closest part of the carrier is 4" so you may not have the clearance. You will need to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole straight back to the distance required to clear the rear of your Motor Home. If that measurement is less than 4" the Carpod will clear the bumper. More than likely it will not clear the bumper.

For that reason, I recommend the GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Slide Out - 17 cu ft - Black # H00604 which will have 14" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back edge of the carrier. This enclosed carrier carries 17 cubic feet of cargo.
