Thread Length of U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 5,200-lb to 7,000-lb Round Trailer Axles
Updated 03/09/2020 | Published 03/07/2020 >
Question:
What is the thread length? I have replaced a 3500 axle with a 3” tube because it kept getting bent. Off-road camper with larger tires and the SC to HF was maxed out. I don’t want to get bigger springs as the load hasn’t changed. The uBolt kit I got locally for my new 3” tube are not threaded enough for my smaller stack of leafs. I could add some spacers between the tie plate and nuts, but would rather avoid that approach if possible.

The threaded portion on each bolt of U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 5,200-lb to 7,000-lb, Round Trailer Axles
part # APUBR-9 is going to measure 3 inches. I have attached a very helpful video that shows the measurements of the components of this kit for your reference.
