In order to use a toolbox with a Pace Edwards Full-Metal JackRabbit Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover like part # 311-FMD7936 which is for a 2020 Ram 3500 with 8' bed you will want to go with the UWS Truck Bed Chest part # UWS08297 which is actually designed specifically to be used underneath a tonneau cover. I have attached a photo for you of the toolbox being used with a similar type of retractable tonneau cover so it should work well for you. The cutout on the toolbox should in theory slide under the canister on the tonneau cover so you can set the toolbox as far back as possible.

Connor, you say in theory this combo will allow the tool box UWS08297 to slide under the canister. My truck bed rail is 19.5" tall and from what I calculate the box WILL NOT fit. Or does it partially fit because of the angle built into the canister?

@LesterO Which tonneau do you have? Could you possibly get me the height of your cannister from the top of the bed rail? The cutout portion of the box is 12-1/2 inch so you'd need it to be less than 7 inches tall.

@JamesonC It's the FMD7936 . I dont have anything at this time. Researching to see what will work. I just saw in questions that somebody else had asked and this combo was quoted to work. But from what I measured, the box will not fit under the canister. Just wanting to verify if I'm correct. Thanks
