Installing Curt Class IV Receiver Hitch # 14001 on 1995 Ford Bronco with 3 Inch Lift
Updated 06/20/2012 | Published 06/18/2012 >
Question:
I have a 3inch lift on my 95 Bronco. Do I need an adapter or anything to make the hitch work?

Expert Reply:
If the lift kit does not interfere with or obstruct the bottom of the frame members where the hitch attaches to the vehicle, the fact that your Bronco is lifted should in no way affect the hitch installation.
Due to the lift, you will need to choose a ball mount that places the trailer ball at the correct height so that your trailer is level when towed. I will link you to our ball mount FAQ article that shows how to measure for the correct rise or drop needed.
I have also linked you to the installation instructions.
