I went out to the warehouse and measured the Bulldog Round Topwind A-Frame Jack, part # BD155033. The distance from the bottom of the three-hole mounting bracket to the bottom of the outside tube is 3-1/4 inches. The thickness of the mounting bracket is 3/16-inch.

I am including a picture that will show the measurements on the Bulldog jack.
