E Track Mounting Recommendations

Question:

Can e track be mounted side ways on the floor of an enclosed trailer ? So from side to side not length ways ...

Absolutely, you can mount E track just about anywhere it will fit. We had a customer send in a picture of his E track mounted sided to side on his trailer so the pressure is across all the decking instead of just one board. You can check out the pictured I linked.

I recommend using E-Track Backing Plate # e96RR when installing E track. The backing plate reinforces and improves the tie-down support of your E-track system by mounting to the opposite side of the E track (essentially sandwiching the floor between the e-track and backing plate).
