Question:
Hi, I have a 2015 Coachmen Catalina 303BHS. Last season the fan in the bathroom ceiling vent stopped running. I want the seasonal campground handyman to replace it as the campground opens. What parts do I need to order so he has everything he needs?

The good news is that you can get all the parts you'll need in a single assembly, but you will need to confirm some measurements to determine which fan you need. You'll want to measure the opening that is on the ceiling where your current bathroom fan/vent sits; the industry standard for this opening is roughly 14" x 14" (some will be slightly larger). As long as your current fan is roughly 14" x 14", you can use something like the MaxxAir Mini Deluxe Trailer Roof Vent w/12v Fan # MA00-03801 as a replacement and have everything that you need. This is a powered vent that opens and closes with your existing switch, plus it comes with an integrated rain shield that prevents rainwater from entering your RV or trailer. This fan will work on roofs that are between 1" and 4-1/2" thick.
The only other parts you might need are an installation kit that comes all of the sealants and screws that your handyman might need by adding the Roof Vent Installation Kit # 344270KITW.
If you measure your current bathroom ceiling vent and find that it is a different measurement, please let me know and I can recommend an alternative replacement.
