My unit is the early one ser no. 009061. I assume i need all 3 kits, one ending in 40 one ending in 30 as well as the split bushings, one for each arm.

For your Roadmaster Sterling tow bar with serial number 009061 you would want the rebuild kit part # RM-910003-30 and then two sets of the bushing kit # RM-910003-40 and # RM-200029-00 like you mentioned and you'd be set.
