Question:
I have a rola trailer hitch carrier that is 60 inches wide. Will this sized tie down work with the wider carrier?

The Rola Flat Strap Cargo Net 59200 will probably work for your 60 inch wide cargo carrier, but it may not be able to hold loads that extend past the cargo carrier side walls. This net measures 48 inches unstretched so 60 inches does not give the net much room to hold taller loads.
Instead, I would recommend either the Curt Stretchable Cargo Net, # C18202. This net measures 60 inches wide unstretched and would give you plenty of flexibility to secure larger items such as coolers, chairs. cargo bags, etc... to the carrier.
For heavier items I suggest using ratchet straps like part # EM34415. Ratchet straps will allow you to tighten down heavier items so they do not move around.
