Question:

What are the requirements for the lug nuts that can be used with the HWT S5 and HWT Series 03 trailer wheels? Do these wheels require a steel insert? If so, are they permanently mounted into the wheel? Thank you.

The Aluminum HWT Hi-Spec Series 03 Mod Trailer Wheel # AM22327 will use standard 60-degree cone lug nuts such as the Kodiak Trailer Wheel Lug Nut # KALN1375S.

This is a stainless steel lug nut, which can be used with the aluminum HWT wheels because the wheels do already have a steel insert to prevent any type of galvanic corrosion. Then for a valve stem you can use the Americana Snap-In Valve Stem # AM20903 (up to 65 psi) or # AM20904 (up to 80 psi).
