I have a video of a 2019 Ford Ranger getting the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # RM-524459-4, which is the same process as the one your referenced, # RM-524459-5.
The difference between the 2 is how the tow bar mounts, and the removable arms. Each base plate installs exactly the same, the direct connect has less components to hook up to the tow bar. Instead of using a quick disconnect cross bar, it connects directly to the base plate.
