Question:

Im putting together an order for 8 of the # 1755892 1/2 inch U-bolt. I know the U-bolts come with nuts, but I would like to order an additional quantity of 16 nuts for the U-bolt. Do you have loose nuts for sale? The specs for this item indicate it would be a 1/2 inch - 20 nut. Also, is the torque spec. for this bolt available?

We do have the Redline Replacement Nut # 12N-Z which was designed as a replacement nut for trailer U-Bolt suspensions like the kit # 1755892 you are looking to get. It isn't a flange nut like what initially comes with the kit but it will still work as designed.

Typically this bolt and nut should be torqued to about 70 ft-lbs each. If you don't have a torque wrench already then we do have some options here like the Powerbuilt # ALL944001.
