Question:
I have a 2020 F-250 with the puck system and really like the B and W Companion hitch system since it attached to the pucks and they are made in the US. I was wondering though if you had any advice as to how I should orient the arms that hold the head in place? Does it make that big of a difference?

Great questions!
It does matter somewhat how those arms are oriented but it isn't very hard to figure out what the best setting is for your towing setup. To start off let's make sure that you get the correct B&W Companion for your setup. The part # BWRVK3370 has a sliding function that is used for short bed pickups so that the trailer doesn't make contact with your cab while part # BWRVK3300 is a 20K stationary option and part # BWRVK3305 is a 25K stationary option, both of which will be used for a long bed.
Now that we have that figured out you can use the attached diagram to help you determine where your arms need to be set. There are 3 different height settings and then 2 settings for where the trailer king pin will sit in regards to the length of your truck bed. Normally the arms should be in the "B" position so they sit more towards the cab (or over the axle) but if that means your trailer will make contact with the cab then you need to change them to the "A" position.
To make sure you have the correct height you just need to measure from the ground to your truck bed (where the hitch will be located) and then from the ground to the bottom of your pin box. Make sure you adjust everything so that your trailer rides level and that you have 5" - 6" of clearance over your truck bed rails.
I have attached some other pictures and helpful articles that go into more detail about this that you can check out.
