Trailer Hitch with Best Ground Clearance on 2020 Subaru Forester

Question:

Can you tell me which 2" hitch would give me the best ground clearance on my 2020 Subaru Forester. Don't really want to run into issues with hitting the pavement down my driveway, etc. Thanks!

For your 2020 Subaru Forester the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch # 306-X7391 offers the best ground clearance dimension because the receiver will sit closest to the bottom edge of the rear bumper when installed. When we installed this hitch on the 2020 model Forester we measured a distance of 15" from the ground to the top inside of the receiver. Just keep in mind that this dimension can vary depending on what you have loaded at the back of the vehicle, condition of rear suspension, etc.

In addition to the ground clearance it provides, I really like the clean, OEM-style appearance this particular hitch offers. You will barely notice there's a hitch installed with a quick glance and even when spotted the 2" receiver looks like it was simply part of the Forester when it shipped out from the factory.
