What is the Distance Between the Mounting Holes on the Curt Hitch for a 2003 Jeep Liberty

Question:

I had a friend tell me about a curt hitch he purchased for his jeep liberty and it was not wide enough to mount on the jeep it was actually an inch smaller than needed, I am interested in purchasing one and would like to know what the with from center of bolt holes is so I can measure my jeep to see if it will fit, 2003 Jeep liberty renegade, Thanks

The distance between the mounting holes that is on the Curt Trailer Hitch # 13044 that you referenced is 37-3/4 inches. This Curt Trailer Hitch # 13044 is confirmed to fit the 2002-2007 Jeep Liberties and should work well for your 2003 Liberty Renegade.

Occasionally during shipment a hitch will get slightly bent, in this situation it is okay to bend the hitch back with a floor jack, vise, or an open stairwell. However, if any visible signs of stress are on the hitch such as creases or flaking paint I would not recommend installing the hitch.
