Can a Ball Mount Be Used In Place of the Tri-Ball On the Curt Multi-Ball Ball Mount

Question:

Hi, are spare ball mounts available so I could have a both a 1/78inch and 2inch ball mounted that could be swapped out with the pins?

I do have an option for you but the Replacement 2" Receiver part # C45802 does not accept a standard ball mount. It only works with the Replacement Tri-Ball part # C45800 which when combined with the Replacement Shank part # C45059 would give you the Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount part # D900. In other words, you cannot use a standard ball mount in place of the tri-ball on the Curt Multi-Ball Ball Mount. If this is not what you are asking please just let me know.

If you are looking for an adjustable ball mount with both a 1-7/8" and 2" hitch balls then I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount part # BWTS10035B which has a patented storage feature.
