Question:

I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler unlimited JL with this brake system . I just bought a RV with air brakes . Is there a way to still use the system on the Jeep Wrangler

Technically the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251 you currently have is still going to "work" with your 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited and new RV with air brakes, but the issue is that you are going to get false braking because it uses both the RV's brake lights and deceleration to apply the brakes. This is going to make your drive less comfortable and more importantly, wear out your Jeep's brakes quicker than need be. It could even go as far to drag the Jeep as you're going down the road.

So I highly recommend switching to the SMI Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes # SM99243. This system ties into your motorhome's air brakes to give you the same stopping pressure for a smoother ride and no false braking.
