How To Transfer B&W Companion With Turnover Ball To 2019 Ford F-350 With OEM Prep Package

Question:

I currently have a 2016 Ford 250 with the turnover ball set up. I have my companion slider that I want to transfer into new F-350 with 5th wheel /gooseneck prep package. Do I need to buy the puck system or will this work?

It looks like you have the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider part # BWRVK3400-5W with the Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWGNRK1111-5W in the 2016 Ford F-250.

The Companion can transfer over to the 2019 Ford F-350 with OEM prep package by replacing the base with Replacement Base for B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ford Super Duty part # BWRVB3300 if you have a long bed.

If the new truck is a short bed you will need Replacement Slider Base for B&W OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Ford Towing Prep Package part # BWRVB3370. These bases will drop down into the factory prep package. The turnover ball rails or any other rail system will not be needed as long as you have the prep package.
