Recommended Adapter Bar for 50 Pound Bike with 27" Handlebar to Seat Post Length

Question:
Hi, have a 50 lb e-bike step through type. I need a crossbar adapter for mounting to a trunk mounted bike rack which I have and which will hold that weight. Any cross bar adapters that will handle 50 lbs and go to a seat post to handlebar stem distance of 27?

The Thule Bike Adapter Bar # TH982XT will work great for the specs you mentioned, as it features an adjustable length of 16" to 31-1/2" (perfect for your 27" handlebar to seat post length) and a weight capacity of 50 pounds.
One thing I do just recommend verifying is that you aren't exceeding the capacity of your trunk-mount rack. All of our available trunk bike racks top out at a 35 pound weight limit per bike so you may want to make sure your existing carrier is up to the task.
I have attached a short video review on the Thule Adapter Bar below that you can check out as well.
