Question:
Will the TH45jv or TH56BV bike rack fit my 2001 Honda CRV? Also will it easily accommodate a womans comfort bike? Thanks

We do have options for you to carry a 2 bike rack on your 2001 Honda CR-V, however, a trunk mounted bike rack will not fit on your vehicle. The rear mounted spare tire will not allow a trunk mounted bike rack to mount safely. Instead, I would recommend either a spare tire mounted bike rack or adding a trailer hitch and a hitch mounted bike rack.
For your vehicle you can use the Thule Spare Me 2 Bike Rack, # TH963PRO. The mounting plate for this bike rack will mount between your vehicle and the spare tire and is designed to fit with your offset spare tire. I have attached a demonstration video of this bike rack on a Honda CR-V for you to check out.
Another option that you have is to add a trailer hitch and use a hitch mounted bike rack. For your vehicle I would recommend the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, # 13314, and Thule Helium Aluminum 2 Bike Rack, # TH9042PRO. We have had the chance to install this hitch and hitch mounted bike rack on a 2011 Honda CR-V, so I linked the installation videos for you to check out.
If you plan on carrying any womens or childrens bikes, then I would recommend using the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT, to carry the bikes safely.
One added benefit to adding a trailer hitch to your vehicle is having the ability to tow a trailer if the situation arose. I have added a few additional items below that will complete your towing set up.
Wiring Harness # 118336 (see link for installation video)
Ball Mount Kit # EBMK4
