Replacement Clip for Attaching Thule Roof Rack Fairing

Question:
It doesn’t seem the clip will open up and attach to existing bracket. Am I missing something?

It looks as if you have an older fairing, and not the Thule AirScreen, so the # 8528583001 would not be compatible. For the fairing you have (judging by what little I can see in the photo you provided), you'd need the # 8537361 clips.
