Will Hitch Install on 2019 Infiniti QX60 Prevent Spare Tire From Being Used
Published 11/18/2019 >
Question:
When the hitch is installed does the spare tire remove freely or do you need to take the hitch off to remove the tire?

The spare tire needs to be removed to complete the installation, but once the hitch is installed it can easily be stowed back where it belongs. The hitch will not prevent the spare tire from being accessed, the hitch won't need to be removed to do so.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing purposes, you'll need a few other items to complete your towing system. For a trailer wiring harness, use # 118273. For a ball mount kit, I'd recommend the # EBMK4, which includes a ballmount, a Convert-a-ball trailer ball that can easily be changed between a 1/78 inch and a 2 inch ball and a hitch pin.
I've linked you to an install video as well as the installation instructions for the hitch and the wiring harness.
